What We Build
Three hand-built boat models, each available to view in person at our shop in Point Clear, Alabama. Contact us to schedule an appointment.
Traditional Craft
Hand-built from select lumber, our wooden pirogue is a true Gulf Coast classic. Available in two lengths — the nimble 12 ft model is ideal for tight creek runs and shallow water, while the 16 ft gives you more capacity and glide for longer paddles across open water. Light, quiet, and beautiful in any setting.
Modern Durability
All the classic pirogue lines you'd expect, hand-welded in aluminum for a hull that will outlast generations. The 14 ft aluminum pirogue requires virtually no upkeep and handles everything from calm bayous to choppy open water. A smart choice for the angler or explorer who wants reliability above all else.
Waterfowl
A purpose-built aluminum duck boat for the serious waterfowler. At 10 ft, the Pintail is compact enough to get into the tight spots — shallow potholes, flooded timber, and dense marsh grass — while still being stable enough to shoot from comfortably. The transom is built to accept a trolling motor, a 3hp, or a 6.5hp longtail mud motor kit, so you can cover water fast and paddle in quietly. Hand-welded aluminum means no rot, no swelling, and decades of service in the field.
Also Available
We carry longtail mud motor kits in two sizes — a 3hp and a 6.5hp — the ideal power solution for shallow-water boats like the Pintail. A longtail puts the motor at the end of a long shaft, letting you run through vegetation, shallow mud flats, and tight marsh channels that would stop a conventional outboard cold.
Ask us about availability when you reach out. Kits can be paired with a new Pintail order or purchased separately.
